Volunteer befrienders
We are on the lookout for volunteers who want to:
- Meet new people
- Gain training and experience
- Contribute to the community
It doesn’t take a lot of time. As little as two hours a week can make a big difference to someone who is isolated because of disability.
In return for your time we will:
- Train you
- Match you with someone needing a befriender
- Support you both
“It’s a very chilled experience!”
So says befriender Sam. Find out more about befriending with Ecas.

Calling all young people
We’re reaching out to young people with a physical disability to help us develop our youth service and to make sure that Ecas appeals to young and old and middle-aged alike.
If you’d like to get involved, give us advice, take part in planning and developing Ecas, let us know. It will help us make services better for everyone and it will be great experience for you.
