Reading and Creative Writing for disabled adults
Thursdays 1-3pm
Ecas, Norton Park, Albion Road EH7 5QY
Every Thursday, Ecas’ Reading and Creative Writing Group meet in-person and online. Love words, reading and maybe creative writing too? This friendly and relaxed art group welcomes adults living with a physical disability in Edinburgh and Lothian.
Join this group to explore your literary side in the good company of others. Enjoy,
- discussing your favourite book
- learning what goes into making a book a good read, or not
- exploring new genres
- writing your own stories, poems and more
- meeting our visiting authors
- trips to literary events
This group is here to help you,
- connect with others in a positive and supportive environment
- share your love of the written word
- gain confidence and explore your creative side
Facilitated by writer and experienced Group Leader John Mackay, the direction we take is led by the members of the group as we learn from each other and explore together. We love welcoming new members to our group.
