Victoria Miller
Board of Directors
Victoria has worked as an occupational therapist for over 12 years and currently works in the community within the long-term adaptations and housing team with adults who have a range of disabilities.
Victoria has a particular interest in those with a neurological condition in relation to postural management. She is also a dementia champion.
Victoria has knowledge of social policy and local government issues surrounding the barriers that disabled people face when trying to access services – whether this is adequate housing, equipment or adaptations, care packages or appropriate support services.
Due to the lack of finance and resources, she is always turning to the 3rd sector and local charity funding to meet the needs of her clients. Victoria first got involved with Ecas approximately 7 years ago to deliver wheelchair training to our Volunteer Befrienders– a role she gets a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment from.
Victoria joined the Board of Directors in 2022 and the Grants Fund Committee in 2024.
She enjoys yoga and swimming, including getting in the sea! She is also a keen crafter, cross-stitch and lino printer.
