Rosa became the Befriending Assistant at ECAS in January 2025. Her previous roles include co-ordinating volunteers for a community wood and metal workshop, and supporting people with physical and learning disabilities to do creative and nature-based activities. In addition to her role in ECAS, she is currently a co-leader of a tool workshop, supporting learning disabled people to repair tools.
Rosa has a background in philosophy, and enjoys facilitating reflective discussions about big ideas, which she has done in schools, prisons, green spaces, and arts venues. In her spare time, she volunteers as a facilitator of a creative writing group for men with histories of trauma. She also enjoys reading, walking, and Tai Chi.
In all her work, Rosa focuses on bringing people together, and supporting them to thrive.
