Caroline Loudon

(Chair)
Board of Directors
Caroline

Caroline has spent many years volunteering in the third sector, from can rattling as a teenager to organising major fundraising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust. She has Raced for Life, Moonwalked and loved getting Pretty Muddy on many occasions – all for great causes.

Caroline joined Ecas in 1998 as a member of the Grants Committee, acting as its Chairperson from 2011 until 2015. She was appointed to the Board in 2009 and has held the role of Chairperson since 2016.

Married with three grown up children, Caroline now spends part of her year in Saudi Arabia where her husband is working. On her return to Edinburgh usually brings back a day or two of sunshine in her suitcase!

A keen amateur photographer who loves travelling, Formula One, cinema and the theatre, we’re thrilled to have our Board chaired by Caroline.

What clients say about Ecas

We feel confident now and realise we can do things we couldn’t do before but we can do them now!

Barbara

Thank you Ecas for supporting us to go on a holiday. The cottage has been great: wheelchair accessible with amazing views around.

The Dukan family

(My befriender) brings the outside world in.

Margaret

The group is a fantastic way to come together and talk about things: books; our lives; what’s important to us.

David

Ecas: a good place to be.
