Having spent several years working with various community arts groups and in schools post art college, I come to the Ecas craft group with a whole range of different experiences.
My first arts and crafts workshops were with Grindlay Court Adult Training Centre in Edinburgh and I later went on to work with Project Ability and Sense Scotland in Glasgow and more recently the Grassmarket Project.
I absolutely love travelling and have taught art all over the world – more recently in India. I have skills in painting and printmaking but also textiles which is one of my greatest loves. I thoroughly enjoy working with the craft group on a Friday and feel like it is not work at all – rather more like going to meet a bunch of pals where we always have a laugh!
Running the craft group has given me the opportunity to introduce and expand on some of my past craft activities.
