Having completed his BA (Hons) in Economics and MSc in Computing at Leicester University, Sunil commenced his career in the computer industry, working as a Systems Analyst with Leicester City Council, but over time recognised that his real interest lay in working within charitable sector.
He moved to Edinburgh in 1989 and since then has largely worked in the charitable sector in diverse roles, including supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, mental health problems and young people with Cystic Fibrosis.
Sunil joined Ecas in May 2014 and enjoys the challenges and the responsibilities his job offers and greatly values being part of a forward thinking organisation that mirrors his own beliefs.
Married with two grown-up daughters, Sunil remains passionate about equality, social justice, football and cricket!
What clients say about Ecas
We feel confident now and realise we can do things we couldn’t do before but we can do them now!
Thank you Ecas for supporting us to go on a holiday. The cottage has been great: wheelchair accessible with amazing views around.
The Dukan family
(My befriender) brings the outside world in.
The group is a fantastic way to come together and talk about things: books; our lives; what’s important to us.
Ecas: a good place to be.
