Gary joined Ecas in November 2021. Originally from the countryside near Bonny Loch Lomond, Gary has worked in and around Edinburgh and the Lothian’s for over 30 years in the voluntary sector, working alongside people supporting them to better understand and manage their mental health and wellbeing.
His previous jobs have included managing a community health project which offered a range of individual and group based opportunities for people to find ways towards healthier and less stressful living. Supporting people to feel more connected with one another and with their communities is a huge passion of his.
In his spare time he likes walking, socialising and loves going to the cinema. He says that he tries to keep active and fit through walking, cycling, running and exercise.
